Services and Support

Student Support Services

Updated: 05/12/2015

Before you can be successful, you need to show up! Be sure that you show up/log in and are on time for all your classes. If you miss the first class meeting, your instructor may drop you from class. Missing multiple classes may result in being withdrawn from class, receiving a failing grade in the class, or other academic sanctions.

Each of the Maricopa Community Colleges provides students with full instructional and technical assistance to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve academic success. In addition to supporting you as a student, we also care about you as a person and a member of our extended family. But as a student, you have to seek out the available resources when you need them. In fact, it is best to familiarize yourself with available resources before you face a problem so that you will know where to go to for assistance when you actually need it.

Do not be afraid to ask questions and participate in discussions online or in class. Remember, your professors can be your single greatest resource. Set up an appointment or drop in to see your professors during office hours. They are there to help you!
